1. Does the quality of paper influence your eagerness for reading?

Q1. American food lables are not just confused us but also Americans. Have you ever confused about food labels?  Do you have any suggestions for this phenomenon?      

Q2. What is your and your family habits to preserve the food? Please give us tips to reduce food wate at home.

You open the fridge, drag out the cottage cheese, check for fur, and if there isn't any, you say, "Honey? Will you sniff this?" However, This is not the approved method of checking for freshness. The approved way lies in a voluntary system of labeling.

Yes, voluntary. The only items required by federal law to be labeled for expiration are infant formula and some baby foods; some states also mandate pulling dairy from store shelves on the expiration date.

This is an article/podcast discussing our natural bias to expect some typical elements especially in dining in exotic restaurant. For example, you would expect to see Indian or south Asian like in India curry restaurant, or Hispanic in Mexico restaurant. The last thing you would expect in a Japanese Sushi restaurant is a chef with blond hair and blue eyes. However, is it some sort of discrimination? Or this might be what it naturally evolved into.

1. Do you think you want the right to own a gun which is regulated to be kept at home, in a car trunk or in a bag? Do you think owing a gun really make your home safer?

2. Imagine you have a gun with you and one day you encounter a terrorist attack, can you draw your firearm out quick enough and do some counterattack?

Q: The 5th storytelling technique in this article is"In Medias Res" which  means starting the story in the middle or some time after the natural beginning of the story. when you use this technique, it can grabbing attention from the start and is perfect for short presentations( just like we are doing in our study group), can you use "In Medias Res" to do a presentation?
